Joined 1freehosting.com, as they have Piwigo on their own installer.

Tried their installer. It didnt install. (Free hosting, Ok. To be expected).

Uploaded latest version of Piwigo from disk and tried an install.
Entered the required details using the information for the database I had just created and pressed install, run, or whatever.

Possibly the copy I had on disk.
Cleared web directory.
Uploaded webinstall.php
Fresh install. No problems.
Typed in the web db details and tried again.

Same set of error messages.

I did enter the details of the web database, why is it trying to connect using "root@localhost"?
There is no way it will get through my firewall. :-)

I noticed an earlier, similar posting, but it wasn't clear if that was refering to a local or web install.
If I am duplicating, I apologise unresevedly.

Any help would be appreciated.
