Englishat the bottom of Notification/Subscribe it reads
"If you encounter problems or have any question, please send a message to..................... "
........followed by my email address.
Could this be done via Piwigo instead, as advertising your email address is really very appropriate these days.
Al
Can you clarify or ?

I think Mersey meant to say:
"advertising your email address is NOT really very appropriate these days".
With Fotopic, the web gallery's owner email address was hidden / masked and all emails to and from him were passed through Fotopic.
I agree with the idea, for users of Piwigo.com but I guess it is not practical for piwigo galleries hosted elsewhere (Piwigo.org).

Well for piwigo.com see with their team, but if you're self hosted, you have mail addresses from your domain. So I do not see any particular problem to a mail address like admin@mydomain.com . If you put your personal address in piwigo, that's a PEBKAC

ok so in Piwigo.com on the Notification Message ......where do i go to change MY email address to another one, if thats the only option!
Suggestion.
It would be much more secure though ,if all notifications to and from ,came via Piwigo, for all i know someone wanting to subscribe could be a spammer?
If you send or receive messages/comments/notifications with other hosts they always come via the host ,not personal email address'es... even if i do change the email address it will still be mine!!!!

The email used for notification is the email address of the webmaster. You can change it in your profile. But don't use a false address or Piwigo.com won't be able to send you his own notifications...
Not everybody can subscribe to the notification of your gallery, you should not fear that much the email harvesting but I understand your concern. Maybe we should add a $conf['notification_email_from'] parameter, this way you can use a "no-reply@..." email address.

Sounds interesting
