it's an way for the admin to put pictures in it and use it in the batch manager. Like you're browsing your gallery on the public part, and you see pictures to edit (add tags, remove or whatever) so you put them in the caddie and then go to tha Batc Manager in the admin part
There may be more use for the caddie, but right now  don't remember (2am here)
