Comments Problems Part 2

Hey again!

Still having some issues with comments :( If I don't use "comments for albums" the enabling comments through the "vanille" options interface does absolutely nothing (what is it supposed to add?) .. it's only when I activate the "comments for albums" plugin that I get comment boxes...

I would be able to live with that of course but I ran into a problem... while it works fine for my "albums itself" (I have main catagories, those have the albums which in turn have the pictures... comments seem to be added to both the "album overlist page" (that's the one when I click on of my catagories) and also on each individual album page (that's the one where click on an album out of the album list for that catagorie)

Now the comments on my album (not albumlist) page work fine and dandy below the pictures of the album...

The problem is, the albumlist is bigger then one screen (aka I need to scroll), the comments there don't go nicely below that list, it snaps to the right top side for some reason ... suffice to say that's pretty ugly in the design...

How can I either "make sure it stays below" or "disable comments on all pages except the bottom tier albums" ?

Re: Comments Problems Part 2

hmm just tried some "test" commentaries and if I post one it totally messes up the page layout as well (the comment box jumps to the right of the posted comments instead of nicely keeping below (or above) them...

I think ill just disable comments alltogether unless someone has a working (clean) solution ?

Re: Comments Problems Part 2

first part: it's activate public comments on picture pages

second part: .... I don't understand...  can you post screenshots, or better links ?
and what is your theme ?

Re: Comments Problems Part 2

sure :)

Picture 1:

As you can see the comment box snapped to the right side (it should be at the bottom of the page)

Picture 2:

This is how it should be (and how it should be on picture 1 also), this is good...

Picture 3:

This is bad again :( As you can see the posting of the comments pushed the "make a comment box" to the right of it... this well messes up the layout.. it should either stay on top and have the comments below, or go below the comments (would prefer above so many comments don't push it to much down but id gladly take either way :))

Re: Comments Problems Part 2

ADDED:

ok after some more testing, problem on picture 1 only occurs in firefox ... in IE9 it works with the comment bar below the page as it should be...

Problem on picture 3 is semi resolved in IE 9 ... (it doesn't go out of bounderies but it does get small and seems to wrap itself where it finds space instead of just stayin on top or below the comments) but it's doable ... but again, in firefox i get the problem as described on my prev post...

Re: Comments Problems Part 2

you use the theme Luciano Amodio, the author of this theme choosed to not activate comments (thats why you don't have comments on picture pages) on this theme, so my plugin is not compatible, it should not be usable at all

I won't make an upgrade if the author keep chosing to not using comments
