The missing link (upload photos)

Hi again ;]

Piwigo 2.4.1
Theme pure autumn

One more small thing different after my recent update
A registered user used to be able to see in the left hand Menu block a 'upload photos' link - I as administrator still can.
The lack of this link was pointed out to me by a slightly puzzled user

No doubt this is something to do with permissions but if so I cant find how to get it back again
Any help appreciated - please

Re: The missing link (upload photos)

Hello
did you try to change the theme ?
I recommend you to use the plugin Multi View to see your gallery as you were logged in another account

Re: The missing link (upload photos)

Looking a bit more into this, not only has the user lost the ability to upload they've also lost the ability to access their own uploaded photos and change the related info
I'm still supposing that this is a permissions thing that's affecting two plugins 'Community' and 'Icy Picture Modify'
As no one else has posted about this then I suppose maybe something has corrupted during the upgrade ???
suddenly not a happy man

Re: The missing link (upload photos)

No not a theme bug as happening with different themes, Pig is looking into it, hopefully he'll come up with a solution once the weekend is over - I'm presuming he's allowed some time off

Hello Pig
Was wondering if you'd made any progress on this ?
Do you still need access to my site by ftp, can i stop the 'allow'

Re: The missing link (upload photos)

Hi there,

the same problem is reported here as well:

http://piwigo.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=17944&p=2

See from Post #22

Some User in  the German Forum reported the same Problem. Now I am thinking this a serios buck.

Re: The missing link (upload photos)

Hi,

updates from Piwigo, Grum Classes and Advanced Menu Manager brought the "Upload Photo" link back.  :-)

Re: The missing link (upload photos)

Hi

That's odd, no updates or shown for any of my plugins and the two mentioned are the latest versions

The "Upload Photo" link is not back.  :-(
