Usually the pictire is larger on my screen - it weems to have gone smaller!! -  have a look at this picture from Gary steadman and you will see what i mean

Re: [resolved] Picture sizes

see what exactly ?

the picture is quite big (1200px) but it fits on a fullHD screen

you started your thread saying that your photos have gone smaller, I can't see that on your website

Re: [resolved] Picture sizes

well I can clearly see a difference from this
http://tonylowther.piwigo.com/picture?/ … park_2012'

to this
http://gary1701.piwigo.com/picture?/205 … nhall_2011
Garys takes up nearly all the page mine clearly does not - I would just like to know the settings to keep my images at a larger size!!!!!!

ah ok
then go to Configuration->Options->Multisize, show details, and change the sizes as you wish (Medium is the default size)

Re: [resolved] Picture sizes

✔ Square
✔ Thumbnail
  XXS - tiny
  XS - extra small
  S - small
  M - medium
  L - large
  XL - extra large
  XXL - huge
all these are ticked if I take out any ticks is recuces the size of my images!!!!

Re: [resolved] Picture sizes

✔ Square    120 x 120 pixels, crop     edit
✔ Thumbnail    144 x 144 pixels     edit
  XXS - tiny    240 x 240 pixels     edit
  XS - extra small    432 x 324 pixels     edit
  S - small    576 x 432 pixels     edit
  M - medium    792 x 594 pixels     edit
  L - large    1008 x 756 pixels     edit
  XL - extra large    1200 x 800 pixels     edit
  XXL - huge    1656 x 1242 pixels     edit
i set XL to 1200x800 but every box has to be ticked if not the picture gets smaller and smaller - there is clearly some thing wrong!!

Re: [resolved] Picture sizes

ok,
I said "Medium" is the default one, so activate "Medium" only and set it to 1200*800
