Error after installing plugin

Greetings all,

I am fairly new to this (pretty great) tool and was playing with plugins. I think I installed a couple plugins that are in conflict.

I installed two video playing plugins trying to make it so can upload and view videos as well as photos, but I think I caused myself an error.

I am now getting:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare render_media() (previously declared in /home/wcbowman/clanbowman.com/photos/plugins/piwigo-videojs/main.inc.php:50) in /home/wcbowman/clanbowman.com/photos/plugins/piwigo-jplayer/main.inc.php on line 183

anytime I go to any page on the site.

Does anyone know how to disable a plugin without the site working?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Error after installing plugin

Have you tried removing it from the Plugins Directory (using FTP or a file manager)?

Re: Error after installing plugin

pewe,

Thanks for the suggestion. I hadn;t because I feared that I may need something in the file to "de-activate" the plugin.

Does anyone know if that is a viable way to disable the plugin?

Re: Error after installing plugin

All,

I dove in, backed up, and removed one of the plugin folders and that solved the issue.

I had a missing plugin identified on the administration page for managing plugins, but uninstalled it there and all is well.

pewe, thanks for your help.
