Re: Use CSS Sprites for Language

I don't see the point of the debate
just ths sprite of mistic, .flag-icon-de, .flag-icon-fr as rvelices said, in language_switch.css. The harder will be to get the coordinates of all the languages on the sprite

Re: Use CSS Sprites for Language

do you have the coordinates or each flag separated?
I would like to work on that

Re: Use CSS Sprites for Language

no I don't, but if I generate a margin-less version you can find them with a simple imbricated loop

better :
http://www.strangeplanet.fr/files/flags.png
http://www.strangeplanet.fr/files/positions.txt (unfortunately you'll have to rename each class)

Re: Use CSS Sprites for Language

Nice technical feature (many lines removed in Apache log files with Piwigo 2.5)

Re: Use CSS Sprites for Language

what about removing all really unnecessary flags (like british territories), it would save some space allowing to use png-24 instead of png-8 ?

(I can do it if you want)
