After upgrade from 2.4.x to 2.5 on the picture detail page I get pictures only as thumbnail, clear skin.

Now I notoce I can set different sizes available. If I choose only xxl, I only get thumbnail pictures, when I add another size, I get a picture size chooser left top page, there I can choose the xxl too. No I added a mid size format, and it looks it dicplays that one are default.

But I want to have default the xxl size. Or be able to choose the default size for a user visiting first time.

Before the upgrade I had Autosize plugin installed, maybe that solved my problem first? Any sight when autosize will be updated to run in 2.5?

The medium is the one used by default: check the local config (read our doc about that )

1/ Go to Administration -> Plugins -> Magage
Activate [extension by Piwigo Team] LocalFiles Editor

2/ Go to administration -> Plugins -> Local File Editor -> Tab 'Local config'
paste
