Hi all,

Love Piwigo, managed to produce a site to help sell my partners greetings cards and, with a lot of trial and error and tons of additional hours, I'm pretty much finished. However, I have one little problem left that I'm hoping some of you fantastic helpers can aid me. I have added a couple of database tables to the piwigo database which I need to insert and update order details but I'm unsure how to go about using MySQL calls through an additional page.

Are there any functions I can call or pages I need to include to ensure I can access the MYSQL database and insert/update/delete records?

I am still relatively new to Piwigo so am struggling a little with this type of enhancement.

Hi

sorry you can't do that, only HTML can be added in an Additional Page

you will need a totally independant page made by yourself, or a personal plugin

Okay, going to be a challenge but I'll have a go!
In that case, is there any thing I can include in my stand-alone page to access the db connections for the piwigo database? php scripts? constants? Or do I need to define them again from scratch?

it would be much easier to create a plugin (there is many help ine the doc)
