I've using Piwigo on Dreamhost and trying to edit the CSS.
In the Piwigo documentation I read:
Go to [ Administration » Plugins » LocalFiles Editor]]1) » Tab ”CSS” ]
There you can choose in the drop-down menu between local-rules.css
and a all the themes enable on your gallery.
...
If you select a theme, the CSS code written will be loaded only for that theme.
However, in my Dreamhost install, I choose the theme I want to edit from the drop-down, and what appears is: "/* File does not exist and will be created by LocalFiles Editor */"
I don't want to start from scratch, I do want to change some elements. Has anyone here used Piwigo on a fresh install on Dreamhost and have any advice?
thank you

Don't worry, you don't start from scratch.
All CSS entries made here over-ride any in the original Theme.
Just write the lines you want that are different for example:
#menubar .Nb_images {display:none;}
Good luck!

Hi
that's why the first part of that Doc is "How To: search the selector" then "change the CSS properties"

Great, thanks!
