Displaying long IPTC caption in stripped theme
Hello/Hi/Greetings,
Is there a way to display a long IPTC caption under the photo in the stripped theme (or any theme)? I have an image with an IPTC caption that has 494 characters. I know the information is there because I can see the IPTC_caption to the right when using the elegant theme. If stripped theme cannot do this now, I'm willing to make the change if given a few clues about where to find the limitation.
Piwigo version: 2.6.3
PHP version: 5.4.30
MySQL version: 5.5.38-35.2

that's what the Description field of the picture is meant to be, especially in your case where it describes the picture

Thank you for the reply. I understand that the description is meant to support the IPTC Caption metadata field. My original post had to do with the length of the caption. I should have said explicitly that with the 494 character IPTC Caption, nothing is displayed beneath the image in the stripped theme. It is also not displayed under the photo in the elegant theme either, but I could see in elegant that the IPTC data is correctly present.
So my question is how to remove the constraint in stripped to be able support up to 494 characters.
