permalinks
Hello
Just what exactly do you do on the permalinks? I saw the tab it sounded great at the top, but there is no example as in do you put full link or just add a prefix you want the album links to follow? Can anyone give some examples of what works best and how your permalink addition looks when you are done? I don't want to screw this up.
Piwigo version: 2.7.2
PHP version: it works
MySQL version: it works too

I don't know why no one has replied. I found nothing on this subject that explains this for how to put these in. Most just say it's good to use them, and that is about it. No one here can explain the best way to use them with examples?

I've read the "?" help on the permalinks page, I guess without examples it's just hard to parse. That's why I said I need to play around with them and see what they do/how they work. But it seems like a lot of work if you need to create "pretty" URLs for a lot of albums. And this isn't for individual photos, just albums ...

The ? assumes you know what permalinks are in the first place. It also assumes that you know how to make them. Actually when I read the ? I will spare you the three words I said. Some of the ? have no examples, and assumes you have a PHD in Piwigo. They do not realize that maybe you are a newbie to CMS, back end hosting, to words used, etc.

that's a very old feature used for url and also as a parameter for custom template
that's just that... some plugin could use it further but no... we could transform it to automaticly have url using album name like Wp but it seriously has to few influence on seo and that's not so planed yet
