How does piwigo perform on a Smart TV?

Hi,

I want to use piwigo but I could not find any information how well piwigo behaves on a smart tv.
For example, how well can you navigate with simple remote, does anyone have experience with that?

I only want to see slideshows of photos and videos on the TV, the rest is not that important and ideally the slideshow can be started by clicking an icon in the smart tv menu. Is that possible?

Thanks

Re: How does piwigo perform on a Smart TV?

just use the included browser and launch the slideshow, I juste tested on my LG and, although the browser interface is crap, it's totally possible

ps: there are Android/iOS remote apps for all main SmartTV constructor, much better than the standard remote

or if you know how to do it you can create a native app using the web API

Are you sure it will work?
