Hello/Hi/Greetings,
I am stuck with adding metadata.
In the config.inc.php the part where I should add soms lines looks like;
$conf['show_exif_fields'] = array(
'Make',
'Model',
'DateTimeOriginal',
'COMPUTED;ApertureFNumber',
'FocalLength'
);
The FocalLength doesn't show on any of my photos (not even the ones I uploaded after changing).
The testpage shows the FocalLength;
http://www.landmarks.nl/foto/tools/metadata.php
What am I missing?
Piwigo version: 2.7.4
PHP version: 5.4.36
MySQL version: 5.5.43
Piwigo URL: http://www.landmarks.nl/foto
Offline
I give up...
Metadata is not shown in any way ...
Button is active, but no data - http://www.vborovnici.si/piwigo/picture … category/1
Is there anybody who can set me up gallery ?
I wish that under picture is always visible:
- Photographer
- Copyright
- Comment or description
All others metadata ... is not so inportant for me.
hello
please open a new thread ; then be explicit. Are the metadata registered? Are they displayed with one of the default themes? etc

The data is not displayed in one of the standard themes.
How can I check if the metadata is registered? And if not? What is the way to go?

On the picture edition page for instance

I've checked it. Even after synchronizing data again, nothing comes up in the visitor part of the gallery, nor the admin panel.

you've forgot to use
// use_exif_mapping: same behaviour as use_iptc_mapping
$conf['use_exif_mapping'] = array(
'date_creation' => 'DateTimeOriginal'
);

Even when putting the code in config.inc.php nothing happens.
Don't know how the synchronise should work, but I see an empty selection box (see attachement).

Hi jeroenroelofsen,
Can you show us the content of your local configuration? (you will find it in plugin LocalFiles Editor, tab "local configuration").
Then we will tell you how to configure your Piwigo to use your IPTC data. In your photo http://www.vborovnici.si/piwigo/picture … category/1 I have found the following IPTC:
2#005 = Stara slika
2#055 = 20110112
2#090 = Vienna
2#095 = Vienna
2#100 = AUT
2#101 = Austria
2#110 = ONB Bildarchiv Austria
2#115 = ONB Bildarchiv Austria
2#116 = ONB Bildarchiv Austria
2#120 = 1900
Please tell me what you want to use as which photo property. For example, we can use 2#005 as photo title. We can only fill the following photo properties: title, description, tags, author, date of creation

"Plg" thanks for first tip. Today I check gallery and it works. (I refers..and clear history last week)
Now I notice that in explorer of WIN10 all exif is not shown any more.. And can't be edited as in WIN7 - but this is other story - I will use exif editor program -
Config is:
Prikaži referenčno datoteko: "config_default.inc.php" local/config/config.inc.php
<?php
$conf['show_exif_fields'] = array(
'DateTimeOriginal',
'FILE;FileSize',
'ExposureTime',
'Copyright',
'Doments',
'Description',
'Photographer',
'ExposureMode',
'MeteringMode',
'ExposureProgram',
'LightSource',
'Contrast',
'Saturation',
'Sharpness',
);
?>
But Now I see EXIF.
Second question is:
- How to turn exif always ON
- I wish to show all picture data right from the picture. - where to edit ?
- Menu is visable in picture page - where to edit ?
Please see also second gallery with different exif - some with IPTC for test ...

In this file it shows
<?php /* Het bestand bestaat niet totdat er hieronder informatie wordt ingevoerd. Zodra informatie wordt ingevoerd en opgeslagen, wordt het bestand aangemaakt. */ ?>
Pretty strange, cause I did edit the config.inc.php file.....

This vborovnici.si is NOT my site, it's probably the site of the guy that is trying to steal my forum tread.
As explained in my first post, my site is as follow;
The testpage shows the FocalLength;
http://www.landmarks.nl/foto/tools/metadata.php
What am I missing?
Piwigo version: 2.7.4
PHP version: 5.4.36
MySQL version: 5.5.43
Piwigo URL: http://www.landmarks.nl/foto
Offline
http://piwigo.org/doc/doku.php?id=user_ … onf_locale
then
use_exif_mapping
Offline
This helps a bit; now when I syncronise a photo again I get;
Warning: [mysql error 1054] Unknown column 'FocalLength' in 'field list' UPDATE piwigo_images SET filesize = '181', width = '1600', height = '590', FocalLength = '46/1', date_metadata_update = '2015-10-18' WHERE id = '192' in /home/landmarks.nl/public_html/foto/include/dblayer/functions_mysqli.inc.php on line 830 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/landmarks.nl/public_html/foto/include/dblayer/functions_mysqli.inc.php:829) in /home/landmarks.nl/public_html/foto/include/page_header.php on line 101
