Hi,

Is it in currently possible to deep link to a specific category using a deep link with a token?
Skipping authentication?
I do want my gallery to be public but also do not want all my friends to have to create an account.

There seems to be an old plugin where a ghost user has to be created for each shared album. I'm not asking for that.

Hi rayfun,

With the upcoming Piwigo 2.8, you can "kind of" simulate that with authentication keys, but you will still have to create a user (you can do it yourself, you don't have to ask your visitors to do it).

Tip: you can create a user and set its status to "generic", which actually means "many physical people can use it at the same time".
