I've used the Advanced Menu Manager plugin to remove the Specials menu and also hide items like About and Notification. However, these items still appear when viewing the site in Smart Pocket on my iPhone. Is there a way to customize the menu in Smart Pocket so it matches the desktop version of my site?
Thanks.

Excactly the same issue here!
Using Stripped as desktop theme and Smart Pocket theme for smartphone and tablet.
Using Advanced Menu Manager to remove Specials and some Albums. In desktop they are left out in menu as designed - but when using Smart Pocket theme all items are visible - no matter if they are hidden or not.
This question has come up several times - anybody know how to fix this??

This is still a problem in 2.8.0 ... using templates to override the smartpocket theme doesn't work and causes strange results like the attached. I'll open an issue in github in case anyone wants to take a crack at it.

Having the same issue here
Desktop - working fine but the mobile version still holds onto things under "Specials" menu for example
most visited
recent photos
recent albums
Under the "Menu"
Still holding onto About and notifications which I dont want
Anybody have any ideas of how to resolve??

I've since switched to the Bootstrap Darkroom theme, which is responsive and doesn't require the Smart Pocket theme. Works much better.
