Hello/Hi/Greetings,

firstly I have to say that I am not familiar with PHP MySQL etc. I am only user (but really satisfied with Piwigo!).

I click on the automatic upgrade from 2.7.0 to 2.8.1 but everything was collapsed, message on the screen you can see below. Can somebody help me?

could you be mroe specific?
Is the message "MySQL server has gone away" appearing when you launch the upgrade of the database? If yes that means your server has trouble to process the database probably due to a big history table. Check that and try to empty it
Or your server is very low in ressources

Yes,

this message appears after my trying to upgrade Piwigo to 2.8.1

As I wrote I am not familiar with databases software. Please can zou write me what I have to change/empty (see figure)?

Go 'up' ; when you have all tables listed on the right, a column is about the table size. Is it big for the history one?

If I understand to it it is really big:
