Hi everybody :-)
There has been a few commits on branch 2.8 since 2.8.2 and currently 6 issues fixed (including security fixes and the mysql 5.7 issue).
Please tell me if you're OK or if you have something to commit before I release 2.8.3.

it seems that i commited my fix to master only [Github] Piwigo commit a215b037 ([Github] Piwigo issue #546) right ? How to integrate it 2.8 branch ?

cherry-pick it on branch 2.8 (do not merge branch master on 2.8). Tell me if you want me to do it.

it seems I can't do it from the web interface from which I did the change so yes you can do it.

Does that mean you didn't test your changes?

Hi everybody :-)
Hoping I will not bother too much :-/ ...
Currently [extension by LucMorizur] Event Cats and [extension by Eric] LCAS are quoted as not compatible since versions 2.7.3, but in fact it is because of [Bugtracker] ticket 3206. (If I'm not wrong; once again, it looks like only these plugins are using this part of the core of Piwigo, it's strange.)
I know I should rewrite at least Event Cats — provided there's still a need for this plugin, now that an autolog feature exists in Piwigo's core as far as I understood, I did not deeply look this part —, yet currently I don't feel enough motivation.
So, if there is still some users of Event Cats, maybe they would appreciate that [Bugtracker] ticket 3206 is fixed. (Yet I must admit that until now, the issue is really minor, if you use Event Cats despite of the warning that it might not work properly on last Piwigo versions.)
Many thakns for having read my message :-) !

Hi LucMorizur,
OK, [Github] Piwigo issue #306 fixed. Crazy we hadn't encountered more problems with that bug!

OK, you're surprised too!
Well, I will not have the explanation.
Many thanks anyway; long life to Piwigo ;-) !
