Warnings after migration towards new host

Hi

We moved our piwigo site towards a new host last week.
The first day all was looking fine, no errors were shown and all working just fine.
Yesterday we noticed that the warnings below were shown:

Warning: session_start(): Failed to read session data: user (path: /customers/8/8/0/nt-pictures.be/tmp) in /customers/8/8/0/nt-pictures.be/httpd.www/piwigo/include/common.inc.php on line 149 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /customers/8/8/0/nt-pictures.be/httpd.www/piwigo/include/common.inc.php:149) in /customers/8/8/0/nt-pictures.be/httpd.www/piwigo/include/functions_user.inc.php on line 940 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /customers/8/8/0/nt-pictures.be/httpd.www/piwigo/include/common.inc.php:149) in /customers/8/8/0/nt-pictures.be/httpd.www/piwigo/include/page_header.php on line 101

I tried reuploading everything but I keep on getting the error.
I also can't login/logout to our admin page.

Piwigo version: 2.8.5
PHP version: /
MySQL version:  /
Piwigo URL: http://www.nt-pictures.be

Troubleshooting done: deleted entire site, reinstalled from scratch. Only moved necessary data from old server (pictures and config files). No plugins. Still the same errors...

Anyone got an idea how to solve this before I start installing the plugins again?

Re: Warnings after migration towards new host

so after a search [Forum, topic 27103] "Failed to Read Session Data" + Cannot Login -> [Github] Piwigo commit af347232
7.1 is quite early I'm very surprised to see it already deployed on production website

Re: Warnings after migration towards new host

Thx a lot, I will try that when install completed. Searched it here as well but must have missed it then.

2.8.5 is quite early, should we be surprised to see it already deployed on production website?

Should we expect the cars of 2016 making debut on the roads now?

You are comparing the technology (php/motors) and end products (piwigo/cars): technologies shipped in everyday products are never the most recent ones just published by the R&D. To be more specific here php 7.1 is quite a bad "minor" update since it introduced breaks (fatal errors) instead of flagging them as Deprecated. However I do understand the use of Php 7.0 since it's stable and is the lightest php ever made.
( https://wordpress.org/about/stats/ php 5.5 2013-14 25%  )
the Piwigo 2.9 is currently in beta and we are looking for testers especially on 7.1/7.0 if you have time.
have a good day!
