Hi folks,
I want to customize my piwigo site for two languages.
I've been advised to choose extension 'Language Switch' to show some flags simplyfiing the user to choose a language.
But, I'm running the bootstrap (darkroom) theme and therfor can't use this extension. The system remarks I should use 'Bootstrap Default Language Switch' instead. But although I installed and activated it it doesn't show up wether in the list of installed nor in the list of activated plugins.
So I tried extension 'Language Switch Menubar' which works fine but shows a big number of flags (see screenshot).
How can I reduce this big number of flags to the only two I'm using and how to keep this choice fixed after an update of this extension appears?

Please tell me more. I think we should drop the [extension by philb] Bootstrap Default Language Switch see this discussion on [Github] bootstrapdefault-language-switch issue #2
In my opinion, like on Batch Downloader we should let the theme overwrite the template [Github] Piwigo-BatchDownloader issue #12

Hi plg,
what I do now is override the check in bootstrapdefault and use jQuery voodoo to un-switchbox'ify it and turn it into a "standard" bootstrap dropdown menu. See [Github] piwigo-bootstrap-darkroom commit fb779007 I guess Phil wouldn't want such a mess in boostrapdefault.
Being able to override the template would be the best option, indeed.

OK, then forget about the voodoo :-) I'm going to make template override possible.
