My photos were stored in galleries symlinked to another HDD which failed and lost all photos.  I have now recovered the photos and rebuild the symlink.  I did synchronization, updated album and photo info and photos in piwigo are restored, however, all the descriptions and photo id comments, etc are gone.  Before I sync the photos, the database shows all the photo descriptions, etc.  After the sync, they have been replaced with null.  I restored the database (I have a myswldump file), and it brought back the descriptions, but the photos are now gone.
Please advice if I can restore my photos with correct database info.  TIA

Edit: after I sync, it shows 68 photos added to database, 69 photos deleted from database, 69 photos updated in database.  How can I stop it from deleting from database, but just to add photos to database?
