Greetings,
I recently upgraded from Piwigo 2.8.1 to 2.9.1. Since then I get a HTTP 403 error when I try to upload photo's using the Alloyphoto plugin in Lightroom when that plugin tries to access ws.php (after 3 successful invocations, the 4th invocation generates a 403 error: you don't have permission to access /piwigo/ws.php on this server.
I suspect that the actual version of the plugin is not compatible with Piwigo 2.9, but the plugin developer doesn't think so and suspects the problem lies with my hosting company that would have imposed a rate-limit (which they deny).
Anyone a suggestion? And sorry, I am only a user (knowing nothing about php and all that stuff).
Otherwise, I was thinking of downgrading back to my previous Piwigo version. I made a backup of the piwigo directory before upgrading. Is it sufficient to restore that backup? Or has the structure of the database also changed so that I also need to restore the backup of the MySQL database?
Piwigo version: 2.9.1
PHP version: 5.6.31
MySQL version: 5.6.35
Piwigo URL: http://www.veugelen.com/piwigo

This sounds like some mod_security issue on the hosting side.
For a rollback, you would also have to restore the database.

Hi teekay,
I had already tried disabling ModSecurity, but this didn't help.
Thanks anyway for the reply, so that I know what to do when I decide to do a rollback.

Today I upgraded Lightroom from version 6.10.1 to 6.12, and surprisingly the Alloyphoto plugin was functioning again.
