Add New Lanaguage Fails
Hello/Hi/Greetings,
Tried to add a new language. It fails:
An error occured during extraction (path_creation_fail).
Piwigo 2.9.1
Operating system: Linux
PHP: 5.4.44 (Show info) [2017-08-25 00:41:31]
MySQL: 5.6.28 [2017-08-24 20:41:31]
Graphics Library: ImageMagick 6.7.2-7

Does the directory "languages" have write access for the web server?

Great news!
Here is the original permission set during installation:
drw-r--r-- 72 winggang winggang 4096 Apr 20 01:08 language/
Then after I read your message I ran this:
chmod 755 language/
drwxr-xr-x 72 winggang winggang 4096 Apr 20 01:08 language/
Suddenly on the Configuration > Language page, all the inactive languages appeared! It was blank before. And I added a language. No problem.
So the issue wasn't about read/write, it was the x / execute bit that was missing.
Problem solved,, but what's even greater is that this solved the problem I had with Undefined day and month and month displays in this thread:

All is AOK now. I'm stoked.
