Trouble migrating piwigo

Hello!
I have trouble migrating my piwigo install from one webhost to the other.
I did copy over all the files via ftp to the new host and exported the database and imported it at the new host. I did change the database settings in local/config/database.inc.php

All I get is a blank page. Any idea what is going wrong?

Thanks

Piwigo version: 2.7.4
PHP version: php 5.6.30 ->7.1.8
MySQL version:
Piwigo URL: http://

Re: Trouble migrating piwigo

Your Piwigo version might be way too old for PHP 7.1

Re: Trouble migrating piwigo

what would be the correct way to update then? I did try the automatic update thing and it messed up everything...

Re: Trouble migrating piwigo

Well, either fix the mess after using the one-click updater (search the forum, I guess you're not the only one), or try a manual upgrade.

Re: Trouble migrating piwigo

php 7.1.8 is from 3 Aug 2017 and Piwigo 2.7.4 from February 16th, 2015

I highly recommend you to don't use php >7.0.x; 7.0 was introduced quite recently compared to the timeline of small CMS like Piwigo, and 7.1 introduced many backward compatibility breaks from 7.0

Re: Trouble migrating piwigo

Hello all !
I' m trying to migrate also.

Followed all the steps. Can't access the admin pages, redirect to main gallery page. The main gallery page gives out the following errors.

Warning: include(/themeconf.inc.php: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/photoandcrochet/public_html/piwigo/include/template.class.php on line 1156

Warning: include(): Failed opening '/themeconf.inc.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/share/php') in /home/photoandcrochet/public_html/piwigo/include/template.class.php on line 1156

Fatal error? Uncaught --> Smarty: Unable to load template file 'menubar.tpl' <-- thrown in /home/photoandcrochet/public_html/piwigo/include/smarty/libs/sysplugins/smarty_internal_template.php on line 139

Any idea what is going wrong?

Cheers,
