Problem with index.php?/recent_cats
Hello, i have a piwigo installation with 90+ albums and 1500+ galleries, when i order galleries by newest to oldest (index.php?/recent_cats) i get displayed the last 700 gallery, there is a limit? how to remove it?

Your request is very condusing! Surely, you mean you have 1500 images. Most people have one gallery.
If I go to 'index.php?/recent_cats' then it shows me "Recent albums", not galleries or images.

I have 90 albums (categories) and over 1500 galleries with 50,000 images

Sorry 1684 albums you are right, btw my settings are 35 albums per page but if i use index.php?/recent_cats i get only 22 pages (744 albums exacly)

Gallery files structure is galleries/dir/subdir for all files and ofc every subdir has images

I think that recent_cats display just a limited number of albums by default but can't display all albums if created in different days, what i'm looking is a way to display all the albums in date order (new ---> old) or a way to display only dir with photo inside and not dir that contain other dir

as already said index.php?/recent_cats displays only recent ones depending on the Recent period set by user
it won't display all at all
There is no flat view for albums, only for pictures/media
you could set an huge Recent period or use dynamic recent period plugin

If i use dynamic recent period albums are ordered by name, i would like that they would be displayed by date (newest to oldest)
