Hi all,
I'm having an issue where my previews/thumbnails are not matching the original image (by a long shot). They appear to be a lot darker and higher contrast. It shows especially in black and white photos. I was wondering if there is some kind of configuration that may be able to help? I'm only fairly newish to Piwigo, so hopefully I've just missed something.
I've attached an example image comparison to show more clearly what I'm talking about.
Thanks in advance!

Most likely you are using GD graphics library. (maintenance administration panel )
If so, then you need to enable the imagemagick module in your PHP setup. (Ask hosting provider if unsure)

Thanks for the reply, looks like I'm using ImageMagick - sorry should have included that in original post.
Graphics Library: ImageMagick 6.7.7-10

In that case you could try GD.

But, I use imagemagick and I'm not having any issues with my B&W photos. It looks like you might be viewing your gallery on a mobile device. Have you tried on a computer monitor?

Hey thanks for the update - haven't had a chance to test until today, but I've made some progress. It seems the error only occurs with PNG files. JPG seem to be fine. I've attached a screen grab of the same image side-by-side (PNG on the left). For now I can just convert/re-upload photos as JPG, but I still imagine that PNG files still shouldn't be changing during upload?
Cheers
