Hello one and all and all and one and one for none LOL
Having a minor problem with piwigo.
I wouild like to add a link back to my website from my piwigo, but I am unable to figure out how to do this. I have looked through the documentation and it does not mention how to do this or if it is possible to do so. If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated :)
Piwigo version: 2.9.4
PHP version: 7.0.19
MySQL version: MySQLi 5.6.35-81.0
Piwigo URL: https://www.skyboundaviation.pw/Piwigo/

The forum has this state-of-the-art feature called "search". It's all the rage.
For example, searching the forum for your problem, I found a topic called "How to add link back to my homepage from my Piwigo Main Page?"
and also
"A way to add an accessible link to go back to homepage?"
Cool huh?

No need to be so condescending and rude, I did try the search function for half an hour using various keywords, but nothing came up.
But thanks for the help anyway.

Yeah, I agree, there's no need to be rude about it cobber! They're just asking a question. :-)
Skybound_Aviation, there's a 'Page banner' text box in the 'Configuration' → 'Options' admin area, into which you can put whatever HTML you like. A link to your site could look something like:
<p>Please see my main website: <a href="https://example.org/">example.org</a></p>

Thanks, that is all I really wanted to know.

You searched for half an hour, and it took me half a minute to come up with and answer by searching "link homepage"?
It's amazing you were able to install Piwigo.

Link back to website in Page Banner does not work!
I've tried,
<p>Back to website: <a href="https://mywebsite.co.uk"></a>
and in reverse,
<a href="https://mywebsite.co.uk">Back to website></a>
to no avail.
Is there a magic piece of code missing?

There's a magic piece of code too much.
<a href="https://mywebsite.co.uk">Back to website</a>
Mind the extraneous > in your sample.

ErAck
You stated in you reply
There's a magic piece of code too much.
Code:
<a href="https://mywebsite.co.uk">Back to website</a>
Mind the extraneous > in your sample.
My code is standard HTML code with no extraneous > in it.
I tried removing each > at a time but no way does it work.
Incidentally I have got it to work using the Perso Footer plugin which is not ideal as would be better at the top!

You wrote "Back to website>" that has an extraneous >.
Anyway, you are using the Modus theme that apparently doesn't make use of the page banner header. Btw, you should close the <strong> element before the closing </a>.

Ok I added </strong> as suggested.
I changed the theme and yes the back to website appears however now lots of photos are missing.
I've tried several themes and nothing seems to change.
I've tried going back to modus but it seems to be stuck on another theme.
This is crazy, surely I haven't got to reinstall photos!
