Hi all!
I'm in the process of creating a photo database and we're getting close to it doing everything we need. One of the things that we need to work out though is enabling more option to edit the information attached to an image / batch of images when importing.
The key one is the ability to add tags when doing so, in order to avoid the issue of having to tag each image individually.
Does anyone know of a way to add more fields into the photo uploader properties options?

you never have to modify images individually. In the admin panel simply choose recent photos, or use batch manager to define a custom filter.
To add tags automatically you need to change your config file.

Thanks for the quick response!
The batch tagging works great as an admin, but we are using the community pluging (should have mentioned that!) to allow multiple users to upload to the database. There is a photo properties dialogue during this on the upload screen which lists "Title" "Author" and "Description"
Is there a way to add the "Tags" field during this so that the users themselves can tag the images they upload?

I haven't tried so I don't know if Piwigo allows community user to modify their images.
I do know that users can tag their images using their favourite 3rd party software prior to upload. If you modify your config like I mentioned, then the tags will be imported automatically.
