extension access: unserialization fails

Hello Dears,

I have great fresh install on my domain, which can't access the extension list.
More precisely, it is able to communicate with the piwigo server, but fails in the get_versions_to_check() function. The data is downloaded, but unserialization fails.

Downloads data from here: http://piwigo.org/ext/api/get_version_l … format=php
But then can't unserialize:
Notice: unserialize(): Error at offset 0 of 742 bytes in piwigo/admin/include/plugins.class.php on line 365
[line number is modified]
The net suggests a lot of hacks to "fix" serialized strings, but I couldn't manage.

Do you have an idea, how to fix or bypass this?
Thanks a lot, Marton

Re: extension access: unserialization fails

Hi gorogm,

Can you change the language of your user to english and see if it works any better? (because I suppose you're in Hungarian and your Piwigo tries to access hu.piwigo.org which redirects to piwigo.org, which might be the problem)
