[resolved] Search Issue in Mobile Mode or search.php

Good Morning,
I'm having a Search issue - I'm sure it used to work as I intended but possibly not.

I upload pics to a specific album (members cars) indexed with a prefix #

If I search for a picture using my magnifying glass search option #97
It brings up the photo's starting #97 as expected

If I do the same search using the word search in a mobile menu or /search.php the criteria shows the"#" is removed and the search will return all photos with 97 in the file name

Do I need to prefix something extra within the mobile version / search.php so it will keep the # in my search request?

Thanks In Advance
Paul

Re: [resolved] Search Issue in Mobile Mode or search.php

I didn't dig deeply into it, but it looks like in search.php line 38 and following all characters in the $drop_char_match array are replaced with characters from the $drop_char_replace array, so it might work if you changed those by removing the '#', and its corresponding ' ', elements. However, I have no idea how a # contained would influence or break the following search or not. And of course you'd have to reapply the change after each Piwigo upgrade.
