Merge several piwigo installations into one

Hi guys,

I have three separate piwigo installations which I want to merge into one. Most pictures in each installation have comments.

Is there any script, which can help me?

Looking at the structure, piwigo doesn't save the pictures in the folder galleries anyone. Now it's using date-month-named folders in a folder uploads.

Are filenames unique within a piwigo installation?

Thanks for your help!

Re: Merge several piwigo installations into one

Did you make any progress on this?

I'm looking for the best way to merge two Piwigo installations while preserving all the meta data (I mainly have tags to worry about).

All help would be much appreciated!

Re: Merge several piwigo installations into one

I have already done it for a client. Merging 2 installations of Piwigo is a complex work. Indeed you need to apply an offset for image/category/user/group/tags... ids (and related tables) before importing the lines in the other Piwigo database.

Files are not really the problem.

I feared as much. Thanks for the confirmation!

I have a bit of a mess going on here with some, but not all, tags and categories overlapping... Will explore the possibility of importing both into a third party system.
