Linking to Categories
I have a website and want to link to a specific category. I copied and pasted the url for the category into the link but it redirected me to the gallery home page.
What can I do to hyperlink directly to a category and/or subcategory?

For the previus versions, there's MOD "External Random", but i think it not work with 1.7
Currently, there no MOD/plugin/add in's available, but in your gallery, with your PhpWebGallery version, you've got Web Services.
Web Services will offer you to get all information you want from your gallery.
But you must have some php/html/css skills to build your solution.

With version 1.7, you can create permalinks to do so (Admin>Categories> Permanent links).
It means the category has public permissions so everyone can see it.
