As a professional photographer, I have been using piwigo for 1 year. The feature in piwigo took my attention is I could create categories and let specific users access to them with a password so easily. So I could offer privacy to my clients with the ease of browsing that piwigo offers. I have over 5000 images in my piwigo system. One of the best thing is after you upload original files resizing to different sizes are done only once. Once file is resized it is cached and ready to be served from the disk. The mobile site is fantastic. I could show a gallery to anyone without teaching the interface. Mobile apps makes upload very easy.

We use Piwigo as an image database with different, password-protected levels. This allows our distributors and dealers from all over the world to access our product images at any time and according to their access authorization. Piwigo is easy and efficient to manage and intuitive to use.
Kurt Gerber, EXPED
Before Piwigo, we had a real issue of quality control, and we struggled finding and organising all our digital media. But we didn’t want something too complicated. Piwigo was easy to use and quick to implement. It took 3 months to get it right with the organisation : it was about process definition and communication. People did not have any problem adopting Piwigo, it is really easy to use.
