Hi Silekonn,

A plugin to upload photos? It should not. The upload form in the administration is available "right after" installing Piwigo.

The upload form available in the gallery (as opposed to "the administration") is indeed provided by a plugin Community.

The upload form in Piwigo 2.10 is simpler than in Piwigo 2.9 :-) And it's for everybody, not only for novice users.

How about the photo size limit?

There is technically none.

Are any plans in place to use something easier for novice and/or security conscious users (e. g. the elderly)?  How about the photo size limit?  Any assistance is appreciated.  TIA

That's the best way to learn more about changes.

You can also download your base version and the last version and compare them. I use "diff" command line for that. You will immediately see which files were modified, but you won't have the details provided by Git.

I’m currently trying to update my “Piwigo” photo website, but when I try to do it, I get the following error message:

Could not make the query numbered : 0
MySQL Error No : 1146
MySQL Error : Table 'msergio_piwi181.config' doesn't exist

When I check the database with "MySQL® Databases", I find the line "[msergio_piwi181.piwi_config] OK “.

What can be the problem?

Thanks in advance for any support.

Best Regards,

It's not necessary to record in a ChangeLog which files were changed when (and not many projects do). For that, the code repository exists that you can clone and analyze its history.

If you do local modifications to distributed files then commit the originals and modifications to a git repository of your own so later you can check after an upgrade which of these were changed and re-apply your modifications. For such local changes to a repository of distributed  files an approach of a series of patches comes in handy, which in a git repository can be done using Stacked Git (stg command), package stgit in many Linux distributions, see http://procode.org/stgit/

Hi!

Is there a "changelog" somewhere so I can see which files had major changes? I did some customising and I would like to know which files I will need to focus on to restore those customisations.

Thanks for your help! Looking forward to upgrading!
