Admin Section: Modiy User's Access Right

Hello,

i want to modify the access right for every single user. so i list all the users and chose one out of the list.
Now all the private categries are shown, (but only ordered by their creation date, i think).

Is it possible to change the order of the categories to the same behaviour as in version 1.2?
(Rekursive, but in the order you set in the admin section.)? - and where is the code i have to modify to reach this aim?

thank you

Re: Admin Section: Modiy User's Access Right

you can do that but it's quite hard :-( And the solution is not easy... What you would like to have is something like that ?

Code:

 - animals
 - animals > dogs
 - animals > cats
 - friends
 - friends > dogs
 - friends > cats

(you may realize how huge my sense of humour is :-) )

I may remind you that if category "animals" is private, its sub-category can't be seen unless you have access to.

yes, your example shows what i meant.

If you go into the admin section, there you can choose the menu entry "categories". All categories, public and private, are shown there in a specified order.
Isn't it possible to list all the categories in THIS order when you are modifiing a user's access rights?
is it right, that the order of the categories is set by the field "rank" in the database?
