I've seen Butterfly2 on the demo site.

On every pages
==========
- Text color : #666 (now : white)
- text area : #444 (now : white)
- warning strings (for instance : "adviser mode enabled") : 1/ should be on every page (now : home only), 2/ transparency : 75%, 3/ bring to front (in front of logo too)
- frames : #666 (now : white, with 3D ?)
- more : see butterfly2_feedback2.png

Should be... but please we already spoke about text size.
More, I think to Michel Puech who has a strong handicap.
I think it is acceptable as it.
If someone else can give its personal advice, I will take it (to reduce or not).

I will change colors.
My question: Why have you chosen #ff3363 and not #ff3366?

Coming soon...

Please clarify:
- warning strings (for instance : "adviser mode enabled") :
1/ should be on every page (now : home only),     => ??? (page where missing, I am NOT using adviser mode on my gallery).

2/ transparency : 75%,  => transparency of what? Take care transparency is not available with all browsers.

3/ bring to front (in front of logo too) => I would prefer it somewhere else.

Colors: Yes, yes, yes... coming...

About butterfly2_feedback1:
1 - Take care of browsers / and take care of advisor (display can be different).
2 - Your prefered solution would be available only via a template-extension (coming soon!!! No other way, the reason is to keep clear/dark/wipi/p0w0 and others working).
3 - Otherwise the second one, I share it with you and I was waiting your remark to do it.
4. Thumbnail upper margin is too short. Yes, indeed! ;-)

Did we ? I remember having already asked for that change but I don't remember your answer ...

OK. (however, speaking of visual handicaps, I have a proposal to show you, but later, I suppose)

VDigital wrote:

Do you want it to be #FF3366 ? => ok
(#FF3363 is a little warmer than #FF3366, but ... Remainings of CMJN, I guess)

1/ I told it : I saw Butterfly 2 on demo site (my weblocal is broken)
warning string missing
Should be like that

2/ Then have it transparent for browsers that can display it, and opaque (as it is now) for the others

3/ If you place it like on my .png, the logo is still visible (the word Piwigo, at least)

Did you also notice that I repositionned the category scroll ? Part of it is out of the category box, I would like to have the whole of it IN the box.

Re: Butterfly 2 - Graphic and CSS feedback

Another series of screenshots for changes to be done, if possible :

- logo position = no (I know what I've said in some other posts, but this template is too symetric to afford having logo once here and once there)

- logo position = yes

- menu box align

- line on PicturePage

stripy, do you have a proposition on how to change all that (I mean what rules in css to change) ?

You are speaking about a logo which has been added by Admin > Configuration > General:
Sylvia has no Logo on it.
This Logo is the "Orange" one.
When I/Rub will find time, we will revise the look of it in your way (Including the Home page of Photograph.piwigo.net).

stripy wrote:

Yes and normal, this logo is included in goto/roma admin theme. Nothing related to the previous point.

stripy wrote:

I didn't take time to change Advisor display, I will do. The unalign boxes are due to the Advisor mode.
Check it in a non advisor mode (disconnected like any guest).

stripy wrote:

I work just a bit on the picture page. I will remove that line. And don't forget that advisor again changed all what you can see (currently).

Rvelices gave you a right advice. Maybe it is too fast for you.
But a simple one to begin, maybe.
Could find the CSS rule which is in fault for the line on PicturePage?
Could you tell me what I have to change?

(Don't be affraid. If you don't know, we will teach you how to do with a speedy process.)

I don't have much time right now (lot of work by my own), but I will try ...

Sorry, rvelices, I didn't see that.

Black line on PicturePage has now disappeared.

I've been playing with Firebug, like u told me once : wanted to lower the big button to make clear that we won't hover it by accident, and also wanted to position it more in the middle of the page.

.bigbutton {
I changed margins to : 30px 20px 50px auto;
}

element.style{
I changed margin-right to : 40px;
}

I don't know if that's what u wanted me to do ...

Hmmmhhh ! And u changed text and links colors too. I feel more like at home, now !  :-)
But in fact, I was talking about reducing adminTabs text size

http://www.tele2.fr/tele2.php
Footer of the page :
    TELE2 | Informations légales | Plan du site | Accès déficients visuels

It would be nice doing  smthg of the kind with having the button more visible
But I am conscious it means having a lot of page in duplicate ...

rvelices, grum, mathias, ... or any of you.

I have a problem. I don't remember how to solve it.
Category scrollbar is currently removed in trunk.

To test: you have to change Sylvia line 54
#content .thumbnailCategory div.description { background:transparent url(images/cat_top-right.gif) no-repeat scroll right top;
margin:0; padding:15px 10px 3px 0; overflow: hidden; }
with auto or better scroll

But... the scrollbar starts above the border (I tried to changed it by many way... 8-/  ).

1 - Could you test on your side to find a patch for it?
2 - (Or does anyone know how to move the scrollbar to the left side of description?) but it doesn't solve the problem anyway.)
3 - Or any good idea?

Without solution, current overflow: hidden would be perfect.

Please reply before RC1.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Butterfly 2 - Graphic and CSS feedback

New problem...

I need your help.
SVN:2552

A transparent submit button is covering the text and background.
But with IE, the text seems to be over (not click-able) and text cursor.

But all is block, position: relative, and z-index doesn't work.

I am a bit lost with it.

Any idea?

Thanks in advance.
8-)

PS: I tried to do it in Javascript but it doesn't work, link work but not submit.
