Migrate from coppermine to piwigo

Hello all,

The current web gallery on our website is hosted on coppermine. We want to migrate to Piwigo. Can someone please tell us whether we can maintain the current folder structure and settings on coppermine and migrate to piwigo without any major issues.

Thanks
Rahul Jain

Re: Migrate from coppermine to piwigo

I'm absolutely not familiar with Coppermine. I have a serious doubt that Piwigo and Coppermine use the same directory structure. Can you describe your directory hierarchy? (I mean the photos, not the scripts).

If Coppermine has a web API available, it will be possible to create a "Coppermine to Piwigo" converter without worrying about the database model and the photo folder organization. Can you check that or do you want me to do it?

Re: Migrate from coppermine to piwigo

I am interested in a Coppermine to Piwigo import feature.

As I don't know anything about programming, and as an API was requested, I found the following link:

http://documentation.coppermine-gallery … in_api.htm

Hopefully that's helpful.  Thank you!!!
