I steeled the nerves changed what Eric suggested and it worked, I did have a line of text at the top of the album but a uninstall of UserAdvManager and reinstall fixed that

In the text you sent, you can find i:39;s:4:"true". Replace only this with i:39;s:5:"false" and use the "Go" button in PhpMyAdmin to save the changes.

But does it mean your webmaster access is blocked too with the same message ?

That's something wrong and should not happened. Please, if you've not changed your UAM settings (except for the connexion rejection option), could you send me by PM your backup file of UAM settings you're using ? It could help me to understand what's the problem.

Hi Kalle,

Characters exclusion is not a regex field and there is a bug with some specific characters. You're using a star (*) in your banned characters that is one if these. The star (*) is commonly used to design "all characters" in a standard search field and that's because all characters are now forbidden.

Just remove the star from your exclusion list and all should be ok.

Anyway, I need to fix this in a later version of UAM. :-/

I got your backup file, thx. But no time to investigate right now. What's important is your gallery is working.

I'm currently working on several bug fix in UAM (that should fix once and for all the bug you met) and a new simplifyed administration panel (hopefully !).

Thank you for the answer. The problem is not only the star (*) but the solution for me ist to exclude # and use this character for groups.

How can I manage / change the text of the Registration - eMails for different languages?
The german text need to be updated, and I will use the english (?) orginal for translation.

You should use [extension by Piwigo Team] Extended Description for customize multiple languages.

If there's something wrong in german translation, you can give your translation here. I (or a german translator) will fix it for the next version ;-)

I got a little free time to check your issue. I'm afraid I'm not abla to reproduce it on my test gallery :-(
I've used each characters you used in exclusion, separatly and all together but I was always able to register.

What is the default language set for your gallery (see admin panel > Options) ? Your issue could be in relation.

The active default language is Deutsch, but i get the same result after switching to english.

No Registration possible, for example with the user name: test123
