Let's use the right words, the current wiki documentation is an incomplete and obsolete mess.
* a mess, obviously we can make it much better
* incomplete, completeness is quite impossible but we are currently far from it
* obsolete, it sometimes happens but it's quite easy to fix, the main issue is "how do we deal with Piwigo versions?"

I think we should not display an automatic index on the documentation start page. We'd better display the last version with level 2 pages and the "project" section. For prior version, we write links on a single line and each version has its own start page.
Let's talk about it now. We can have more or less pages, have another organization. Please express yourself :-)
