Hi again,
Is there a solution on the way for my original post?
I think ploader is a necessary tool for making piwigo useful. I will not use it as long as I have to resize all the pics manually before uploading.
To resize them locally, you can use [extension by rub] BuildPWGPicture

Today i installed pLoader for first time. Created some galleries, everything went just fine. :) But then it crashed - dragging photos stopped working. I closed it and tried to open again. But then - pLoader is not starting anymore. It opens, i'm entering host, User and Pass and nothing more happens. It just closes. Tried to DL it again - no changes. It remembers last login but is not working. I can not find it's folder under Local Settings. How can this be solved?
What is your version of Windows?

WIN XP Pro SP2
Now exactly same happened on my ubuntu machine. It happens after dragging a lot of pictures and deleting them. First - dragging malfunction, i close pLoader and it's not opening anymore.
For your Ubuntu machine, remove $HOME/.pLoader directory

For your Windows XP machine, remove C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data

Thanks, it worked! :)
I have got the same problem with pLoader i.e. it crashed as I tried to add a .zip file containing .jpg > 8mb. Thereafter it is not logging on any more. It accepts logon details but then disappears forever. It returns Piwigo login error if incorrect details are submitted.
What exactly I need to remove from below location?
"For your Windows XP machine, remove C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data"
It contains many directories...
I'm using XP Pro (SP3) and pLoader used to work fine until I tried .zip addition!

I never installed it, so it doesn't appear anywhere on the start menu or in the add/remove programs...
I think it doesn't require any install on Windows

Still unable to launch pLoader :(
Any suggestions???

For some reason my .pLoader folder was in a different profile than the one I'm logged in with.
Deleting the .pLoader folder solved the problem. :D
