Is there a setting in 2.10 that I can use to have the page banner on just the first page and not on the category pages?

This is what [extension by gbo] Look_like_Gbo 2 or [extension by P@t] Remove MB Header do but they are not Piwigo 2.1 compatible yet.

If you use montblancXL or BlancmontXL themes, you can set this in the theme configuration panel.
by the way, looklikegbo is now 2.1 compatible.
