htaccess file
I am trying to get http://mysite.com/mycategory/ to work.
1) I need to http://mysite.com/index.php/category/2 forward traffic and search bots to http://mysite.com/mycategory/
2) When people type http://mysite.com/mycategory/ I need url to stay as http://mysite.com/mycategory/
This is the code I use

RewriteRule ^mycategory/$ /index.php/category/2 [L,NC]
But, when I go to http://mysite.com/mycategory/ it pushes me to http://mysite.com/index.php/category/2 and if I go to http://mysite.com/index.php/category/2 nothing happens =/
