Re: [resolved] How to change to new domain name?

Have you gone through the installation process via the install.php file on your new domain? It would make sense that you have to point your new installation of Piwigo to an existing database that was used for your other domain, which should be done via install.php... I'm not an expert but it seems there is currently a lack of support on this forum so I'll try to assist until a Piwigo Team Member can provide further insight...

@admst Do you have a link to your website ?
How did you proceed ? Did you install again piwigo or transfer the database or only change the domain name without any changes ?
Pleas give us more details in order to help you

I am new to piwigo, and find not much information from google about this.  I don't mean to tire development team, as any old user in this open forum shall meet this before.

the website is testing with 18+ adult pictures, I am not sure if it its OK for the forum to put a link here.

Thanks. I just change the domain name, nothing more.
Or does piwigo support two domain name?

You can send your link by email but I will have no Internet for this next 4 days
Maybe you have to change the value in the table #yourpiwigoprefix#_sites in your data base mysql via phpmyadmin. Check that please

Re: [resolved] How to change to new domain name?

well, the problem shall not within mysql. As I already did a search and change url to new domain name. Still only workable for old domain name. Seems there must be some config file in code specified the domain name.

The problem lies in apache .htaccess file. nothing to do with piwigo codes.
thanks for your help anyway!
