I did it again and the category appears in admin panel. I can see this category in my gallery (when I'm loginned as admin), but I still can't see the link for upload photos.

When I login as a user I can't see that gategory at all...

These photos are in `piwigo_waiting` table. But why they are there?? I've already validated them from admin panel and they have `true` in `validate` field.

You must delete photo with .gif (by FTP)
it is not possible to create thumbnails of this format

Finally, I understood how to see uploaded photos. After uploading the images and their validation by the admin, need to synchronize it again. And, necessarily (!), need to unset checkbox "only perform a simulation (nothing will be changed in the database)" (which is checked by default... why???).

And why user must to upload thumbnails? Why do you can not create them automatically?

Most difficult and complicated system I have never seen before...
