Version 1.7.0 updated - build #1170 fixes the issue with the Associate Photos feature ignoring photos in sub-albums. http://alloyphoto.com/plugins/piwigo/
I am hoping this would be the last update before version 1.7 is officially released.

Thank you! I am glad to hear you guys are noticing my efforts to improve the plugin and make it one of the most powerful publishing services for Adobe Lightroom.
I am happy to announce the end of the Beta Testing period for version 1.7.

Major new features in the new version:
* The plug-in is now fully compatible with Piwigo 2.4.0.
* Added support for hosting environments with HTTP Access Authentication (RFC2617).

* Added backward compatibility with Lightroom 2.

Using Adobe Lightroom 4.1 (legitimate keys) and the 1.7.1 plugin, purchased! With 2.4 Piwigo
Works very well, sometimes it can hiccup and cut out when uploading full sized photo's, personally I resize to 1920*1280 which uploads fast and clean. I have this plugin on three of my computers and as long as the album titles are identical, you can upload to the same album from three different lighrooms! This has come a long way, I think this program is getting really darn good at doing a really cool thing, makes things so much easier (No offense Pierrick) for those who need to upload a few hundred photos at a time. Works much better than pLoader on my W7 64bit Ultimate systems. This is a very valued asset to me. Great work Vladimir!

Hey Brendan,
Thanks so much for your feedback! I am curious about those hiccups with large file uploads... This could be caused by memory limits configured on your server. Please review section "Why am I getting upload errors?" on the FAQ page at http://alloyphoto.com/plugins/piwigo/piwigo-faq/.
You can also submit your debug log (see http://alloyphoto.com/plugins/support-a … eshooting/ for instructions) - this would help me identify the issue.
Thanks again!

I have the same problem like Brendan with version 1.7.2.! What is the solution?
Thanks for your support!

Most likely, the problem is caused by memory or post size limits in your PHP configuration.
Please review the FAQ page at http://alloyphoto.com/plugins/piwigo/piwigo-faq/.
If this does not help, submit your debug log as explained here: http://alloyphoto.com/plugins/support-a … eshooting/

Version 1.8.2 is out!
I was holding off with version 1.8 waiting for unforeseen issues to be quickly reported and resolved.
Now that version 1.8 has stabilized I am happy to make the official announcement.
New and improved in the latest version:
* Now you can control the visibility level of uploaded photos. You can specify the default level and also control the visibility level of individual photos using special keywords (for explanation, see http://alloyphoto.com/2012/11/01/piwigo … ion-1-8-0/)
* Fixed a rare issue related to publishing photos into multiple albums and some photos becoming dissociated from all albums.
* Fixed the "attempt to index local 'headers' (a nil value)" error when the server rejects the uploaded photo.
* Added validation of album names.
* Export: fixed a few minor issues with the Export dialog screen.
* Export: fixed the issue with not saving the password in export presets.
* Lots of other minor fixes and improvements.

Here is another update - version 1.8.3
* Fixed the issue with visibility keywords sometimes not working as expected.
* Fixed the issue with visibility keywords not being applied on republish and sync metadata.
* The "Create Keywords" action has been relocated to the Plug-in Extras menu so it can be accessed even when there are no Piwigo publish services in the catalog.
* Windows OS: Fixed the issue with installing the plugin when the username contains accented characters.

Heya,
I need a solution to publish to a restricted piwigo-gallery. Currently I need to:
- make the "members only" gallery public
- sync my images
- close gallery again
Any way to publish to a "members only" album?
Thanks for your feedback.
Best regards

it's on the piwigo side :
using the plugin Localfiles editor
// does the guest have access ? // (not a security feature, set your categories "private" too) // If false it'll be redirected from index.php to identification.php $conf['guest_access'] = false;
and as it's written : set your categories "private" too

Hey flop25,
thx for your quick response!
Now it works,yay! :-)
That means I need to manually set all albums + subalbums to "private", right?
