Please clarify what message you are talking about. What are the steps?

Once an album exists within an album set It's impossible to take the album out and drag it to the root level.

I believe it is possible, you just need to drag the album to a certain spot between or above an album set name. If you release the mouse button when the highlighted item turns into a thin line, the album is re-parented at the top level of your publish service.
Let me know if this helps. If not, I'll try to create a screenshot showing how to do that.

Oh, I didn't see your screenshot earlier.
This error means you have a circular reference among your albums. I notified the Piwigo team of this issue, we are trying to determine what's causing this.
As far as I know, you will continue getting this error until the circular reference is removed. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do that, you may need assistance from Piwigo developers.

Very interesting... I'll try reproducing this.
Could you please submit another debug log after receiving this error (with build 252)?
Thanks!

Quoting post #10 from this thread:
The "Method name is not valid" error may appear because the plug-in uses the pwg.images.addSimple method from the Piwigo API, which is not available by default. There is an extension that needs to be installed and activated. Here is the link: [extension by plg] pwg.images.addSimple
Do you have the extension installed?

Yes, it is (see printscreen)

OK, I am going to ask the Piwigo team to look into this because the error you are seeing is coming from your Piwigo installation, and my plug-in simply displays it.
