Piwigo 2.6.1 with Community plugin, non admin users can't make new albums in spite of checking "ability to create sub-albums" box.
When non admin users make a new album, displayed "Access denied".
Damn it, I should have read your message before releasing 2.6.a. 2.6.b under preparation!

Thanks for Community 2.6.b!
The trouble of making albums is resolved.
Sorry, but I found a new issue.
Piwigo 2.6.1 with Community plugin 2.6.b, a new private sub-album which is created by users can't take permission of groups from it's parent private album.
So, the other users(not admin) in the same group can't see the new created sub-album till admin user put group-permission to the sub-album.
Wasn't it exactly the same with Piwigo 2.5? When creating a private album, admins + creator automatically get permission and nobody else.
Now with Piwigo 2.6 we have (thanks to flop25) permission inheritance, give it a try http://piwigo.org/releases/2.6.0#permission_inheritance

Awesome!

Thanks! I missed config_default.inc.php setting.
Noticed a bug with the plugin... or smartpocket theme. Not sure which is responsible.
I did this on my comp and then tested on a tablet with the same result
(Have theme smartpocket & Piwigo 2.6 & Community 2.6c)
1. Log in with user with correct permissions.
2. Top right "Menu Button"
3. Hit "+ Menu"
4. Hit "Upload Photos"
5. Blank Page...
But if I hit View in Desktop, I get the upload page.
How can i set, that it is only in specific albums allowed to delete there own photo?
I like to have an album - setting for yes / no of delete - option.

impossible to make such a scheme.
1. when a user logs created in the root album (home / user name) - it works.
2. to dip this user to create albums with the howling album does not work.
thank you

Is there a possibility to add keywords / tags on the fronted Upload?
i have only description, title and author..
thanx for a info
I am not sure if this is a conflict or a bug but when I set up a user Community adds the user
to the album members as I want. Members is a group as well that is the default group for any user added.
The permissions I have trouble with are
Who? Where? Options
any registered user User album only High trust, 500 photos
Member(the group) Public low trust, sub-albums, 100 photos, sub-albums creation
What happens is it allows the user to add files to the Public Album with out screening it to the admin
the Album tree is
Members (Private no groups)
User1 user2 user3 etc
and an Album Public (Also marked Private so only members Group sees)
with various sub files...

Same issue exists still. This seems to happen when $conf['question_mark_in_urls'] = false;
I created similar thread here for the same issue with the upload 1 menu plugin. I now see the problem is actually with the community plugin instead.
http://piwigo.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=23718
The problem with the "?" in the URL exists for switching between flash uploader and browser uploader within the community plugin as well.
Can this be fixed in the next update? Thank you very much.

I am running the latest version of Piwigo, and the community plugin is enabled (also the latest version). When I click on "Upload Photos", it takes me to either a blank home page or the home page itself. There is no upload UI on the frontend.
I know that I have the permissions correct because I gave the test user rights to upload to every album, as well as create any sub album (full unrestricted access, high trust).
the requested URL for the upload form: index.php?/add_photos
Every other link appears to work as it should. All of the file and directory permissions are correct as well. How can this be fixed?

I am also having this problem. how do we fix it?
Not sure if it helps, but I seemed to be having the same issue. I installed a load of plugins at the same time as have been trying things out. As soon as I deactivated 'icy picture modify' the upload photo feature worked a treat. I notice in the guidance for icy that it ignores the community code?!
Not sure if will help your problem, but just incase... Cheers
