Hi farukisin

Can you give more details? I don't understand what you mean by "the information page" (if this page already exists, give the URL, I will know which page you are talking about)

like the name of photo like the name of the writer like this kind of photos
and is this possible to be sent a copy of the uploaded photo to the admin as archieve

right now what i need is after the user upload the photo they should enter the info about the photo like the name of photo name of him or herself.

Re: Community plugin, new generation for Piwigo 2.2+

I really like this plugin. Makes it nice an easy for members to upload there own photos. Great job! I was wondering if it is posible to have a way for the admin to put a size limit in text on the upload page. My host along with others who have posted on here will not allow large photos to be uploaded. It would be nice to have a line of text on the up load page that would say the max size allowed (pixels @ file size) so users could resize there photos. Right now the user has no idea on the size limit and his upload will fail if the photo is to large.

Thanks

I will add a sentence like:

Maximum upload file size: 10MB

(this is quite easy)

but the maximum dimensions is much more complicated to compute :-/ I will search the web to find some tips about it.

Re: Community plugin, new generation for Piwigo 2.2+

Hi, this is an amazing plugin and I love it to death! I really like that my users can now add to my community without having to email me and have me add them up.

However, there's a few things I'd really like to see the ability to do on the next update.

1. The Author field gets filled in automatically with the users username. (Currently, it does not. It just remains as N/A, which is a bit perplexing to me seeing as how the users want credit for their added content.)

2. The ability for the admin to edit numerous photos in the uploads at once. (A lot of users do not put their images in the correct folder and I have to edit them one at a time to get them into the correct folders, which is a headache when they upload 200+ photos at once.)

3. When you get to the main page on the Upload a Photo link, under Drop into album have it default to Choose an album on the drop down menu so that they are required to chose someplace to put them (thus preventing them from dumping into the main album rather than the correct sub-folder).

That'd be awesome if we could see even one of those updates in the next version. <3

Re: Community plugin, new generation for Piwigo 2.2+

Good day,

As some people has mentioned earlier, it would be fantastic to get the function working that automatically fills out the name of the Author (or in my case I have renamed it Photographer for my theme http://icelandmyway.com/gallery/picture … tegory/107 ) or at least a field where the person who uploads can fill out a name of the photographer. Also naming the picture like it was possible to to before would be useful.

Additionally some things that I also would find useful is:

Option to show the email address and homepage url of the person who uploaded the photo.
It would also be great to have the option to once again add a description to your photo.

Re: Community plugin, new generation for Piwigo 2.2+

I have all the latest versions running as far as I am aware. The community folder was created. Permissions set for registered members to upload but no button for this appears anywhere on the site.

Not sure if I am doing something wrong.

I read that the button should be in the menu box but it is not.

Any advice would be nice as just added this great gallery to my sons football site.

www.staffordfalconsstars.co.uk/gal/

Thank you for any help.

Well I removed the advanced menu manager and it started working. As soon as I put it back it stopped again so I presume its a conflict of some kind.

Shame as i liked the manager for the random picture.

Re: Community plugin, new generation for Piwigo 2.2+

Dear experts,

My export plugin to piwigo in digikam stopped working after piwigo upgrade to the most recent version (2.3.1). I think my kipi plugins in digikam are also of the most recent version. Is it only my problem or somebody else is experiencing the same problem? Did I miss any configuration options after upgrade?

Thanks.
