Re: Community plugin, new generation for Piwigo 2.2+

Hi,

when I'm trying to access /index.php?/add_photos as user (which is member of appropriate group), I'm redirected to main page. If I'm logged-in as admin, it works. What might be wrong? Someone with same problem? Piwigo 2.4.4 and Comunnity 2.4.a. Before upgrade to 2.4 it was working. Many thanks.

Are you using my plugin 'icy_picture_modify'? I may check if this plugin causes any issue with 'community'!

Good point! I tried to disable icy_picture_modify and now community works fine.

Fine! When you install my plugin, settings of 'community' are overriden. When you click to that link, you are redirected because the current user isn't allowed to upload image. If you want to use my plugin, please read the doc (README and doc/ at https://github.com/icy/icy_picture_modify).

Regards,

Re: Community plugin, new generation for Piwigo 2.2+

I just recently installed piwigo, the latest version. Quickly decided that I needed to allow users to upload pictures - so I downloaded this extension.

However, I unzipped the folder, uploaded all the files - then when I went to my admin panel to mess with the settings, I get a page that says "Hacking Attempt"

What do I do?

I noticed someone else posted the same problem on page 4, but no one ever responded.

Any help? Thanks!

Re: Community plugin, new generation for Piwigo 2.2+

the easiest way to install is to go
Administration>Plugins>Manage>Other plugins available
then find the plugin you want click 'install' and follow the routine
easy

Re: Community plugin, new generation for Piwigo 2.2+

Hi Piwigo Team,

I thank you for all your work on this project!!

I am having difficulty validating photos that have been uploaded by users.

versions:
Piwigo: 2.4.6
Community Plugin: 2.4.b

Although I have set the following option right from the beginning and have not changed it:
Plugins>Community>Upload Permissions>Which level of trust>high trust : uploaded photos are directly displayed in the gallery

When users upload photos they are found to be marked as "Pending" in the Photos>Recent Photos section of Administration Home.

This would not be too much of a problem if I could validate them however, I cannot as nothing shows up in the Plugins>Community>Pending Photos section.

Any ideas to resolve this?

Many thanks for your time,

Protege.

Re: Community plugin, new generation for Piwigo 2.2+

Hi,

First of all, great gallery software! I love how out-of-the-box it is, makes my life a lot easier.
Anyway, I was wondering if there's a way for users to be able to delete any photo using this plugin. The upload part of it is great and means I don't have to make everyone an admin, but I want to give people the right to delete photos they don't like. Is there a way to accomplish this?
Thanks in advance.

All sorted. it seemed to take a day or two then the photos "pending" status disappeared and the photos were available to the correct groups.

Re: Community plugin, new generation for Piwigo 2.2+

Thanks for you work.

I have suggestion for future upgrade.
Maybe there is possible to make tools in Community plugin for administrators. What I mean is if I have images waiting for approval, maybe it is possible to create administrators (some kind superuser group) who have rigts to approve or reject other users images without ability mess up with other Piwigo settings.

Maybe there is already plugin for this but I havent seen it jet?!

thanks

Also,

the function in the gallery "upload Picture" which gets added under menu, does load the upload box... I can select a picture neither with Flash-Uploader nor with Browser-Uploader... they select option just doesnt appear.
